From your first semester, you're paired with alumni now in medical school and biotech, plus older members who have been in your shoes. You'll also join a cohort of new EMs from your own class and bond with them through retreat, socials, and the family system.

Recruitment Timeline
Fall 2026 recruitment at a glance. Info sessions and Social Hour aren't required, but we strongly encourage them.
Intro to Healthcare Night
Thu 8/27, 8–10 PM in Dwinelle 145. Presentations then networking. A collaborative night with other pre-health orgs on campus.
Info Sessions
Tue 9/8 in SOCS 20 or Thu 9/10 in Wheeler 204, 8–9 PM. Same material. Come to either one.
Social Hour on the Glade
Hang out with current EMs, Friday at 5 PM.
Applications Due
Submit your written application by Tuesday at noon.
Social Round (invite only)
An invite-only mixer on Thursday. Invites go out by Tuesday at 11:59 PM.
Interviews
A friendly behavioral interview with a small panel of EMs, Saturday morning.
Acceptances Sent
Decisions go out by 5 PM on Saturday.
New Member Orientation (mandatory)
Sunday, 9 AM – 12 PM. Required for all new members.
