About Us

The story behind MCBcDNA.

Who We Are

The Molecular & Cell Biology, Cell Developmental, Neurobiological Association (MCBcDNA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and UC Berkeley's leading Registered Student Organization for the life sciences. MCBcDNA supports UC Berkeley undergraduates interested in the life sciences through mentorship, professional development, and an inclusive community.

We organize open speaker events featuring Nobel laureates and industry leaders, career development workshops, and graduate school admissions panels with current doctoral students and admissions representatives. Through these programs, we aim to expand access to life science careers and contribute to a more diverse STEM workforce while training the next generation of leaders in biology.
